During the Covid-19 lockdown in Melbourne, it was impossible to get out and do any photography. Like everyone, I stayed put and did he right thing to help minimise the spread of the spread of the virus. In mid May some of the restrictions in Victoria were eased and it allowed us to get out and start taking photographs outdoors again. No overnight stays at this point, but it has been fantastic to be out in the sunshine. On Sunday 17 May, my friend Deborah Dorman (Wild Honey Photography) and I got up at the crack of dawn and headed to Daren Parklands – an old favourite – and got snap happy in the mist. I was able to capture some lovely rays and create some really inviting Australian bush images.
